Oak Leaf Pendant by Bridget Wheatley.
The oak tree has been an important symbol in many mythologies, a symbol of longevity, strength, stability & honesty.
The oak leaf pendant is made by hand from sterling silver. Every leaf Bridget makes is unique and measures 15mm in length. The leaf is attached to a stylised twig that forms a loop for a slim 18 inch length spiga chain with a 9ct solid yellow gold mini acorn attached to the twig and sits on top of the oak leaf. The total length of the leaf/twig is approx 25mm. The total pendant drop from the chain is approx 4cm.

Bridget Wheatley is an esteemed jeweller who resides and operates her craft in Oxfordshire. After graduating from The Birmingham School of Jewellery in 1983. Bridget developed some of her early collections, experimenting with wood, plastics and metal.
Exhibiting at Trade Exhibitions within the UK, her work has sold to shops & Galleries mainly in the Uk and around the world, including ‘Liberty’ of London.
Bridget is now working from a purpose built studio in her garden to focus on her hand crafted, bespoke and small run collections. While her style evolves and remains instinctive; her quality and wear-ability remains unaltered. Her recent additions to the ‘Fauna’, ‘Bird’ & ‘Into the woods’ collections reflect her love of three-dimensional, sculptural work and takes inspiration from her love of animals and the natural world.
