Marija Williams

Marija Williams is a self-taught artist based in West Berkshire. She works in pencil and is particularly inspired by animals and the natural world. She loves the immediacy of graphite as a medium and enjoys creating works that are detailed yet soulful using only the humble pencil.

Marija is passionate about animals and feels that they are often underestimated. Creating art that centres the non-human animal is a way of honouring the natural world and she aims to capture the spirit and character of a subject as well as their physical likeness.
