His small barn is surrounded by the tranquillity of nature - ancient fields, woodland, hills, meadows and lots of wildlife. This landscape has inspired many years of creativity, designing and making the highest quality, bespoke furniture, as well as the recent development of his Cubi collections, from design concept to box production.

Jonathan's marquetry boxes have a veneered top and a solid walnut case. The designs have been inspired by contemporary art as well as traditional geometric shapes. The marquetry uses coloured and natural hardwoods which harmonise perfectly together.
