Joely Clinkard
‘I tell stories of the city through vibrant and fluid surface painting, using clay as a dynamic canvas. With a playful and intuitive approach, the work develops and evolves as I layer colours, textures, vivid slips, and glazes.
Each piece is a capsule of the ecology of the city; the moment of pause in green space, changing light on the side of a building, human figures, crowds and the way we flow.’ - Joely
