Anna Lane
I have always worked with colour and texture and this is very what attracts me to working with so many different beads and stones. Seeing how colours can work together and against each other to suit our many emotions.
I originally trained as a scenic artist at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama and worked on shows in the West End, at the National Theatre, the Royal Opera House, Almeida Theatre, for the ENO and also for lots of repertory companies and on four film sets.
Since that time, I have developed my own textile designs on silk and velvet but no longer have the space to work in this medium so, more recently, I have made my own jewellery using semi-precious stones in their natural state. I have always worked with colour and texture and this is very what attracts me to working with so many different beads and stones. Seeing how colours can work together and against each other to suit our many emotions.
