Alison Proctor

'I have been making ceramics since graduating from a studio ceramics course at the Royal Forest of Dean College in Gloucestershire. I recently moved from Surrey to Kent, and I’m currently setting up my new studio in New Romney, located by the sea and overlooking the marshes.' - Alison

Alison is a member of London Potters, Kent Potters and an Associate Member of the Craft Potters Association. She makes a range of work that is inspired by the natural world around her which is often sculptural.

Her recent work has been exploring the tradition of creating spring moulds directly cast from plants and leaves.
